YARMOUTH, N.S. — The annual Modern Realty JStrong Cup was held in Yarmouth for its second year on Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29.
The first day saw arenas set up on Main Street, along with vendors, music and other activities.
Day 2 saw the fun move to the Mariners Centre for championship games in the outdoor arena.
The JStrong Cup is an event held in memory of Yarmouth teenager Jadon Robinson, who died at the age of 17 in a motor vehicle accident. He loved sports and as a legacy the JStrong Fund has been set up that provides financial and sponsorship support for youth accessing sport in Yarmouth County. Jadon would have turned 21 on Sept. 29.
