LIVERPOOL – The Liverpool Privateers are out of this year’s Nova Scotia Junior B Hockey League playoffs.

A game at Queens Place Emera Centre March 3 ended in a 5-0 loss for the Privateers against the Cole Harbour Colts, forcing the Liverpool team to head to Game 7. The Privateers were downed again 4-2 against the Colts at Cole Harbour Place March 4, ending the Privateers’ run in the playoffs.

In the game at Cole Harbour Place, Privateers Mitchell Baker and Connor Barnhill each scored a goal. Logan MacLellan, Cooper Stuart, Kyle Hicks and Brandon Pottie each made an assist.

The Colts will now take on the East Hants Penguins, who won the first round of the playoffs against the Valley Maple Leafs. That series is set to begin March 9 for the Don Johnson Cup.
