BARRINGTON, N.S. — Running the rapids at Chrissy’s Falls was a wet and wild ride for some paddlers during the annual Barrington River Run on May 11. With lots of water in the river, it was a challenging run. Some paddlers nailed it while others took the plunge. There were some that opted to portage by. More than 20 canoes and kayaks participated in the annual fun run that starts at Clements Pond and makes it way to the mouth of the Barrington River and the Wild Axe Lumberjack AXEperience Park for some relaxation.
