Raymond Palmer Hirtle — Newcastle

Raymond Palmer Hirtle-Feb 22nd 1943-Oct 21st 2017, left this world peacefully with his family by his side at his home in Newcastle, Ontario. Joining his beloved Marilyn (1942-2013) and brother Ronnie(1952-2010). Dear father to Ken(Allison), Bob(Deb), Kathy(Jim Vaillancourt). Beloved Grampy to Christine(Mike), Michelle(Peter), David(Carrie), Dwayne(Amanda), Brandon(Cheryl), John, Kyle and Dustin. Great Grampy to Austin, Jacob, Carter, James, Caitlyn, Carley, Jordan and Jemma, Noa, Chloe,Caleb, Ella and Logan and Great great Grampy to Ethan. Palmer will be missed by many. A very special thank you to his entire team of caregivers, Dr. A Kassier, Nurse Sherrie Reid and PSW's Sarah, Melissa and countless others, who made it possible to keep him in his home. Palmer will return to his Nova Scotia home in the summer of 2018 to be laid to rest at the New Baptist Cemetery, Charleston, N.S.
