SHAY, Margaret Doris - March 30, 1931 - April 19, 2017 It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our loved one who passed away at home surrounded by love on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She is survived by her children: Barb (Terje) Rogers of Caledonia, NS, Anne Shay Kempton of Kingston, NS, Carol Shay (Ivan) of New Germany, NS, Wes (Jackie) Shay of Kelowna, BC, Ginny Shay (Richard) and Barry Shay both of Oliver, BC; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Jean Crouse of Lunenburg, NS, brother Bob (Hazel) Mansfield of South Brookfield, NS as well as several nieces, and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Susie Mansfield, husband Earle (1995), son Steve (1999), and daughter Linda (2012). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (Okanagan/Kootenay Area Office, 4-1551 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 9M9).
