LifeFlight called in after two-vehicle collision in Enfield

A man with serious injuries was taken to hospital by LifeFlight after a two-vehicle collision in Enfield Friday afternoon. 

At about 3:30 p.m., RCMP responded to a collision between a Jeep and a car at the intersection of Horne Settlement and Renfrew roads, police said in a news release. 

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man from Enfield, was taken to hospital with serious injuries by LifeFlight. The driver of the Jeep, a 54-year-old man from Enfield, was not injured. 

Both drivers were the only occupants of their vehicles. 

The road was closed for two hours, but has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
