Momentum is growing for Privateer Days, with 29 musical acts confirmed for the three-day festival, being held June 21 to 23 in Liverpool.

Entertainment Director Louis Zwicker “has constructed a slate that will appeal to a range of musical tastes, while still featuring local talent, and acts with ties to the area,” reads a press release.

The Sponagle Band are the headliners on June 21. On June 22 it’s the Kevin Davison Band and on June 23, The Blue Lane. The full three-day schedule can be viewed by visiting privateerdays.ca, or by checking the Privateer Days Facebook page.

“The Privateer Days committee has many great events — both new and old — in store for guests this year, and they seem to really be encouraging community engagement,” said committee representative Jason Croft. “Despite still being months away, this year's event already has a totally different “feel” to it, and the energy is contagious!”

There is free entry in this year’s Privateers Days’ parade, scheduled for June 22 at 11 a.m. Parade and vendor applications are now available on the Privateers Days website. More event details will be released as they become available.

For more information on the weekend’s events, or on how to become a Privateer Days volunteer, please contact the Committee at 902-354-4500, or email [email protected].
