BARRINGTON, N.S. — There’s a full line-up for the 67th annual Big Little Ex in Barrington on Aug. 15 to 18.
“We’re excited about the new events,” said exhibition committee president Trevor Swaine. “The Hillbilly Challenge and Lawn Tractor Races on Thursday, Chainsaw Juggling on Friday, Catch 22 Improv Comedy on Saturday, and we are pleased to welcome back the Scotts Timber Show with one show daily.”
Motor sports events, a stellar line up of musical entertainment including local headliners Ghost Town Heroes, One Metre Up, Jamie Cotter and the Country Outlaws to mention a few, fireworks, the second annual Dash for Cash mud run, ox hauls, light horse show, pageants, games, a midway, beer garden, vendors, concession stands, and a 2k and 5k run are on tap during the four day event.
“We invite everyone to come and see what we have in store,” said Swaine. “We would like to thank all of our community partners for their support and a big thanks to our volunteers who have all pitched in to get the grounds looking great for the event.”
Swaine said a special thank you to the Shelburne County ATV Association, Passage Auto Parts, Carmen Christie’s Garage, and B. Reynolds Trucking, for their help with organizing the 4x4 and ATV mud runs and pulls.
