SYDNEY, N.S. — The CBRM wants its older residents to weigh in on the municipality’s future recreational programming.
Chelsea Currie, the municipality’s new adult and senior recreation coordinator, active/aging survey is presently on the go that asks adult residents what sorts of activities, programs and events that might be of interest.
“Recreational activities have the potential to drastically improve individual wellbeing at every age whether it’s physical activities, art programs, music groups or social events,” said Currie.
“We hope to equip CBRM residents with the information, programs and motivation they need to find an activity that suits their preferences and their lifestyle, and that makes them feel more engaged in the community.”
The Active Living Survey is available online by visiting the CBRM website.
