GLACE BAY, N.S. — Cape Breton University’s Let’s Talk Science program began another term on Tuesday at the Glace Bay Library.

The free program run by CBU students is for children ages 8-12 and teaches kids science fundamentals with hands-on activities and experiments. The program runs every second Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m.

The theme this week was space exploration and participants were tasked with building their own model of a Mars rover that could be dropped on the floor and land safely intact and upright. Reporter T.J. Colello was on hand to take photos of the participants in action.
