YARMOUTH, N.S. — After a one-day delay caused by strong winds on Monday, Nov. 25, the lobster season in LFA 34 (southwestern Nova Scotia) and LFA 33 (south shore of the province) got underway the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Boats were permitted to leave wharves at 7 a.m. The 7 a.m. departure time was an hour later than usual for LFA 34.
