YARMOUTH, N.S. — After a one-day delay caused by strong winds on Monday, Nov. 25, the lobster season in LFA 34 (southwestern Nova Scotia) and LFA 33 (south shore of the province) got underway the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Boats were permitted to leave wharves at 7 a.m. The 7 a.m. departure time was an hour later than usual for LFA 34.

While the boats left at 7 a.m., there was lots of activity happening at the wharves well before that.

Here are some images and video from the wharf in Pinkney's Point, Yarmouth County taken by Tri-County Vanguard editor Tina Comeau.
