Privateer Days, the South Shore’s preeminent historic festival, typically invites you to Step Back to 1780, although, for one night this June, they are doing a time jump and will instead be inviting patrons to step back to 1980!
Fundraising chair Jenn Cosby has partnered with the Milton Community Hall to coordinate the retro-styled party, the first of its kind for Privateer Days.
Energized with music by DJ Red Fox, the Saturday, June 1, event will run from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Prom-goers can also expect a 50-50 draw, silent auction, cash bar, refreshments and, of course, the crowning of a prom king and queen.
Tickets are $20 per person, or $35 per couple and are available at Veinot’s Print in Brooklyn, at The Vanity Room Salon & Boutique in Liverpool or by contacting the Privateer Days Committee at 902-354-4500. For more information on Privateer Days events, or on how to become a Privateer Days volunteer, contact the Committee at 902-354-4500, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
