Hockey players gave back to the community May 27 at a scholarship auction game played at Queens Place Emera Centre.
The Liverpool Privateer junior B hockey team faced off against the Liverpool midget Cougars at the event, which brought in cash to help fund scholarships at Liverpool Regional High School.
It was a great game with a good turnout, with some goals scored by Ted MacDiarmid, but in the end, it was the Privateers that won the game.
