Almost 200 take part in Liverpool's Run Our Shore

LIVERPOOL - Nearly 200 people came out to participate in Run Our Shore in Liverpool on April 30.

The 5k, 10k, and 21.1k events marked the first running events of 2016 in Nova Scotia. The runs started at Queens Place Emera Centre and encompassed parts of Brooklyn, Beach Meadows, and Eagle Head.

The event is organized by Steve Burns, manager of Queens Place Emera Centre. This was the third year for the event.
