LIVERPOOL – The Liverpool Privateers won a home game 8-5 against the Pictou County Scotians at Queens Place Emera Centre Feb. 3.
Brandon Pottie got three goals, while Mitchell Baker, Glenn McInnis, Alex Nauss, Brady Meech and Cooper Stuart each got one. Logan MacLellan, Connor Kirby and Connor Barnhill each made two assists, while Baker, McInnis, Nauss, Dylan Crews and Noah Nauglar each had one assist.
The Privateers’ final game of the regular season was set to take place against the Valley Maple Leafs at Queens Place Emera Centre at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10.
The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League website says the Privateers are “three points up on the Valley Maple Leafs in the chase for third place in the Red Fox Division.”
The fourth-place finisher will have to play the East Hants Penguins in the opening round of the playoffs.
