LIVERPOOL – The Liverpool Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a structure fire on Union Street at approximately 10:15 p.m. Feb. 5.
The structure was a small workshop, said John Long, spokesperson for the fire department.
Because the call came in as a structure fire, there was automatic mutual aid. North Queens, Greenfield and Port Medway’s fire departments were also paged. Liverpool turned North Queens and Greenfield back, while Port Medway stood by at the Liverpool station.
“We determined it was not suspicious,” said Long.
Firefighters left the scene shortly after midnight.
