Queens celebrates Privateer Days

Every summer, for one weekend, the town of Liverpool and Region of Queens celebrate the community’s proud privateering heritage with Privateer Days. The three-day flagship festival features a variety of events from music and food in the park, to water competitions and historic encampments, to candlelight graveyard tours to children’s entertainment, to axe throwing competitions to a grand street parade. Pictured are just a few of the highlights from the festival held June 22 to 24.
