LIVERPOOL – South Queens Middle School’s band has been hard at work.
The band’s program includes about 80 students, and each of those band students demonstrated their hard work during a recent spring concert. The recital took place at the middle school in Liverpool on June 6.
Alison Williams, who’s been teaching music at the school this year, conducted each group, including the Grade 6, 7, 8 and Grade 7/8 bands. Audience members also heard solos and trios.
The evening ended with each of the band students congregating on stage to play Eye of the Tiger.
