According to a media release, someone broke into the pump house between April 4 and May 18 and stole fuel and a number of small items valued at more than $800. Included were a toolbox containing a number of hand wrenches and other items.
Anyone having knowledge of this or similar incidents, or witnessed anything suspicious that might help solve crime, is asked to contact the Queens County RCMP Detachment (902) 354-5721 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 to $2,000. Tipsters can also submit secure tips online by logging on to Crime Stoppers website at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca
