DIGBY, NS – Over 400 litres of diesel fuel was stolen from a Conway gas station during the afternoon of October 13.

The theft happened between 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. at the Circle-K Irving gas station on Highway 303 in Conway.

An unknown man pulled his truck up beside the diesel gas pump and filled a large red tank with exactly 402.456 litres of diesel, worth $439.08.

The same man then got into his truck and left the gas station without paying.

The RCMP believes the truck to be either a Chevrolet or GMC model. It is a four-door model, and dark in colour.

The man was seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with reflective stripes, and a white ball cap.

Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact the Digby County RCMP Detachment.
