A local charitable organization is out cash after a theft from a vehicle recently in Queens County.
The Queens County District RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person or people responsible for the theft from a motor vehicle.
Sometime between 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 and 7:30 a.m. on March 1, an unidentified individual or individuals entered the vehicle along Danesville Loop Road and stole more than $1,000. The money belongs to a local charitable organization, says a RCMP news release.
Anyone with information about this, or any other offence, who would like to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers any time at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 to $2,000.
